It is the largest gathering or hui for New Zealand medical professionals with an interest in respiratory health, and is an established and respected fixture in the healthcare calendar.
The two-day event features presentations from New Zealand's leading researchers and clinicians, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest research, clinical advances and the best practices in the field of respiratory medicine.
The programme is designed to be of relevance to primary care practitioners and health professionals in respect to the management of respiratory conditions, patient and whānau care, education and support.
Following each presentation there is an opportunity for questions and discussion. The conference also provides numerous networking opportunities and the chance to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas and forge new collaborations.
The conference activity has previously been endorsed by the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) approved for CME credits for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes.
