Kids asthma education show

Teach children about asthma through a fun, interactive live Sailor the Pufferfish shows or through Sailor's digital classroom, helping students recognise triggers and respond to asthma emergencies.

The Sailor the Pufferfish Show is a musical asthma education show, performed in primary schools across the motu.

With 1 in 8 Kiwi kids having asthma, the show is about raising awareness in schools and educating children about asthma in a fun and entertaining way.

It explains what asthma is, includes tips on how to manage asthma, common asthma triggers, and also what to do in an asthma emergency.

Since 2015, the Sailor Show has been performed to over 75,000 children across New Zealand!

Heremana te Kōpūtōtara Show

Heremana te Kōpūtōtara Show (Sailor the Pufferfish, te reo)

Heremana te Kōpūtōtara is an asthma education show performed in te reo Māori.

The show has been translated and adapted for tamariki in kura kaupapa.

This fun and interactive show includes tips on how to manage asthma, asthma triggers, and what to do in an asthma emergency.

Since 2019, Heremana te Kōpūtōtara has educated over 5,500 tamariki in Aotearoa.

Join Sailor and Jelly on an underwater, animated adventure to learn about asthma. This 15-minute interactive learning is broken down into four chapters with a short quiz at the end of each.

Whether you have asthma yourself, or someone in your family and whānau does, Sailor and Jelly will help you understand all there is to know about asthma, the triggers for asthma, how to treat asthma, and what to do in a life-threatening asthma emergency.
